A semi-automatic shotgun is a great all-around firearm. It’s one of the most popular in America. It’s perfect for quick, repeat shot, especially when you need more than two. These are often gas or inertia activated, but some are recoil operated.
Pump
A pump-action or slide-action firearm is a popular choice for hunters as they allow more than two rounds while offering a fast action. These are generally less expensive and a great value.
Over-Under
An over-under double-barrel shotgun is popular with wing shooters and sporting clay shooters. They give you quick repeat shots, faster than a semi-auto, but you are limited to two rounds. Some offer double-triggers and some have a single trigger with selectable barrels.
